DigiFT, Chainlink, and UBS Collaborate on Tokenized Fund Operations Under Hong Kong’s Cyberport Scheme
DigiFT, a licensed exchange for institutional-grade tokenized real-world assets, has secured approval under Hong Kong's Cyberport Blockchain & Digital Asset Pilot Subsidy Scheme for its joint initiative with chainlink and UBS Tokenize. The project aims to automate the distribution, settlement, and lifecycle management of tokenized funds, targeting efficiency gains in the $132 trillion asset management industry.
The workflow leverages Chainlink's oracle technology and DigiFT's regulated smart contracts to process subscription and redemption orders for UBS's tokenized products. All transactions are recorded onchain using Capital Markets Technology Association (CMTA) Token standards, reducing manual intervention and operational costs.
"Cyberport is at the heart of Hong Kong's digital transformation," said Henry Zhang, Founder of DigiFT. The collaboration underscores growing institutional adoption of blockchain infrastructure for traditional finance applications.
